"If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest for freedom, go home and leave us in peace. We seek not your council nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams

This is Abu Mazen's test. Hamas refused to take part in the truce talks. Either he now has to turn a blind eye to ther terrorism or use what security elements he can to shut down Hamas.

It is also a test for the Arab leaders in the region. Hamas has a free hand in the Middle East and if they refuse to a truce and continue attack in Israel, the leaders who promised to take part in the 'peace process' will have to live up to their word. I'm sure most of them made their promises assuming that just like in the past, that was all that would be expected of them. They could say some nice words and everything would be business as usual. I have a feeling they will quickly learn that they don't get too many chances to dissmble with this Administration.
