"If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest for freedom, go home and leave us in peace. We seek not your council nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams

French Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin says the United States has made a moral, political and strategic mistake by starting a war in Iraq.
"The Americans made a triple mistake: First of all a moral mistake, I think...there was an alternative to war. We could have disarmed Iraq differently," Raffarin said in an interview on France 3 television on Thursday.
"Also, (they made) a political mistake, because we know very well the difficulties of this region of the world," he added. "And then, there is a strategic mistake: this idea that today one country can lead the world."
