"If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest for freedom, go home and leave us in peace. We seek not your council nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams

Another company kicking into he war effort.

Laclede, Inc., the maker of Biotene oral health products, has donated a total of more than 150,000 product mini-pacs to the American Armed Forces who are presently engaged in Operation Iraqi Freedom. The California based manufacturer that specializes in treatment for Xerostomia or "Dry Mouth," coordinated efforts with the United Service Organizations (USO) to ship more than two tons of toothpaste, mouthwash and mouth moisturizing gel to a donated warehouse on the U.S. Army base, Fort George G. Meade, in Maryland. From there, the goods will be shipped to American Armed Forces serving in "Operation Iraqi Freedom."

"It's the least we can do for the brave men and women who serve in
America's Armed Forces," said Michael Pellico, President and co-founder of Laclede, Inc. "Dry Mouth is certainly a factor under that kind stress and in that climate. We hope our products will help our troops protect their gums from all that heat and dust."
