The Iraqi envoy in Moscow promises a peaceful inner struggle in the face of a war to overthrow Saddam.
A worldwide holy war has been launched to protect Iraq and its leadership as the country awaits an imminent US invasion, the Iraqi ambassador to Moscow has warned.
"The jihad has already begun," Abbas Khalaf said
"Arabs and Muslims have come to Iraq to protect the country from US aggression," Khalaf said, adding that his embassy received 7,000 such requests alone.
"This is a war that not only involves Muslims, but all of humankind," he said, adding that he did "not exclude that this could become a war without borders."
Oh, I guess he didn't get the diversity memo explaining what Jihad means.
