"If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest for freedom, go home and leave us in peace. We seek not your council nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams

Yemeni authorities say they failed to capture the mastermind of the attack on the French oil-tanker last year. They also tied him to al Qaeda.

Security forces failed to capture Abdul Hakeem Bazeeb in an ambush last month, a government official said on condition of anonymity. He did not provide details of the failed arrest. Authorities believe Bazeeb and three accomplices in the Oct. 6 attack are still in Yemen.

The official said the interrogations of five prisoners revealed Bazeeb - who authorities believe is linked to Osama bin Laden's al-Qaida terror group - organized the Limburg attack, which caused 90,000 barrels of oil to spill into the Gulf of Aden and killed one crew member.

But of course, if France just keeps its head down the Islamists won't attack them. Like the suicide bomb in Pakistan last year and the Limburg and the busted up plot to fly a plane into the Eiffel Tower.
