US Army bringing supplies sent by Americans to orphans in Afghanistan.

``People with nothing need everything,'' said Cole, of the 489th Civil Affairs Battalion — reservists from Knoxville, Tenn. He started coming out a month ago, bringing different soldiers to expose them to Afghan life outside their headquarters at Bagram air base, about nine miles away. ``It's a grass-roots effort that has done real well,'' Cole said. ``I think we've got the greatest job in Afghanistan. We get outside the wire, meet people, show other soldiers what we're here for.''
