"If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest for freedom, go home and leave us in peace. We seek not your council nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams

The anti-voucher mantra doesn't pass the test of compassion. The 'theology' of the anti-voucher crowd outwieghs the benefits of the thousands of children who will now get a good education.

Students in 8,600 schools that have failed to meet learning standards, or 9 percent of U.S. public schools, can choose to go to better schools in their districts this fall, the Education Department said Monday.

The anti-voucher crowd would rather condemn those children to staying in those schools, in the name of their beliefs, and failing rather than consider the possibility that the parents of those children choosing, of their own free will, to have their children attend a religious school.
